Does the light come on automatically when you open the door or do you have to turn it in yourself
No, this does not switch on automatically. There is a light switch/button on the cooler, and you press button once to turn light on/off. The light turns off automatically after 10 minutes.

My new Baridi DH73 is showing a temperature of 19° each time I reduce the temperature it reverts back to 19° What's wrong?
When the temperature is set the control panel will flash 5 times before changing back to the internal temperature. The temperature will then slowly adjust to the temperature which has been set. The time the item takes to reach the set temperature is directly dependant on ambient temperature.
