Hi, please can you tell me if this has auto cut off battery protection?
-
You receive an F1 code when you have a low power protection and you need to change the battery protection mode from High (H) to M (medium) or from M to L (low)
To set battery protection mode, with the unit turned on, press and hold the Setting button for 3 seconds.
The default setting for battery protection is High (H). This value should be set when the unit is drawing power from the car battery.
When connected to a portable power supply or other back-up battery, set mode to Medium (M) or Low (L) by cycling through the Setting button options.
NOTE: If the battery power supply to the unit does not switch off when the vehicles ignition is off, set battery mode to L otherwise you may drain the vehicle battery

I read a review that stated that you can’t run the fridge/freezer with vehicles fitted with a “smart alternator” can you confirm if that is the case please.
We simply advise using the item according to the instructions,

I have just bought one of these and it is a great fridge, freezes fast. My Q is over the H,M,L battery protection setting. Does H mean high battery protection? ie it is more likely to switch off if battery starts to get low. Thus if you want good fridge service and you have a good back up battery then use M or L.

Can you confirm please that (a) while driving my Mercedes car, I can have it plugged into the 12V outlet AND (b) when I get to the hotel I can plug into the 220 V wall socket with the adapter? Thank you!
You can plug this into your car while driving and then carry on using it by unplugging it and then connecting to a mains socket.

Over what temperature range will this product function properly?
Thank you for your enquiry.
All the Dellonda portable dual zone compressor fridge/freezer cool boxes for car and camping, which are suitable for 12/24 and 230V have a temperature Range: -20°C to +20°C.
Kind regards,

Hi. Can you tell me the approximate length of time it takes to go from plus 20'C to 5'C. If you have the data, down to zero. Also, what is the significance of the battery indicator? I'm assuming its not rechargeable (although that would be brilliant!!)
Many thanks.
Good afternoon,
Apologies for the slight delay in giving you a response. We have checked with the supplier and they have clarified that the time it takes to go from +20 to +5 is about an hour and a half. Regarding the battery indicator, we are awaiting further information and will give a response on this in due course.

Hi, is it possible to use this unit stood up on its end?
Good morning,
Because this product works with a compressor cooling system, we would not advise it to be used in any way other than it is intended. As with a regular fridge, this coolbox should be kept in its intended position for 24 hours before switching on and we would advise that it is kept in this position during use.
Standing it on its end may affect it's efficiency and may not keep its contents as cold as it should.

Hello. On 12V DC will this plug into (and work from!) the 'cigar' socket in the hatchback of my Audi. (ie Is it intended to work directly from a car socket?)
We can confirm that the 12V plug on the Dellonda 15L Protable Compressor Fridge Freezer/Cool Box is designed for use in the car and it will work from the 12V socket in the car.

What is the power consumption on 12V please?
Thank you for your interest in our luxury camping fridges. The power consumption of this 15L Electric Cool box is 0.27kWh / 24hr and this stays the same for 12V, 24V and 230V.
This consumption is based on a Room temperature of 25 ℃ and a fridge temperature setting of 5 ℃
The consumption while the compressor is running is 45 Watt.
Please let us know if you have any further questions regarding our portable fridge freezer range.

How long will the unit stay cold once disconnect to power is there an internal battery to hold charge or does it need to be connected to power source all the time
The item does not have an internal battery. However, 12v leisure batteries can be purchased from Amazon etc and can be used as an alternative battery source. How long the unit stays cool once unplugged depends on a few factors, such as contents, external temperatures etc.
